I keep mine on for the most part. I’m less worred about knocking it in my sleep and more concerned about the dog eating it if I take it off.

I usually don’t wear my ring when I sleep. It never feels comfortable.

For years, I wore my ERing 24/7, including when sleeping. It’s a 5-stone, with the side stones sort of bezel set. It is a bit smaller (thinner), and overall feels like a pretty sturdy setting to me. I never had any problems with it at all, and it was always comfortable.

I don’t wear my anniversary ring to bed because it’s a bit too bulky and uncomfortable for sleeping. And the type of setting it is (invisible set) makes me a bit worried that I might lose a side stone, although I don’t worry much about this during daily wear.

I wear mine 24/7 and I’ve never had a single issue. I guess I’m pretty old fashioned in that I believe my rings are on for life. I used to take them off to shower but my kitty stole my ering off the counter and ran away with it! Now I’m convinced they’re safer on!

i wear mine to bed, only take it off when I’m doing something that would get it nasty (cooking raw meat like pp said!) or cleaning/doing my hair cuz I’m sure it will ruin my rubber gloves and the chemicals aren’t good for it. But I wear all my usual jewlery non-stop or I’m constantly forgetting to put it back onor misplacing things. Fiance did go for the platinum setting just because he was worried about a stone coming lose but i haven’t caught it on anything or had any issues with it yet.

Yipeebee:  I rarely wear it at all when I’m at home, and never intentionally when sleeping. It’s not that comfortable for me.

I wore mine to bed the first night but woke up at 2 AM panicking because my fingers swelled up and it hurt and I couldn’t get it over. Never since then!

Mine is the same setting as @MissKayteeDee and I wear mine all the time. Mine is about a 1/2 size too big (I got sized in the middle of summer after going hiking) and he proposed in November and I haven’t got it resized yet and the ONLY time I take it off is to shower because it’s a bit loose since the size is off and to use strong chemicals (I have a morganite and don’t want to hurt the stone). I work in a paint store and still don’t take it off (but admittedly I am considering getting a fake for work).

I sleep in mine every night and it never snags! The only times I take them off is to clean with chemicals, and if I’m cooking some type of meal that would get my rings yucky.

I got my new ering last night and fell asleep in it it comfortable even with the high setting being high I’m retiring so I don’t do any hard work these days so I plan on wearing “lady blue” 24/7 lol! But it’s funny when I woke up this morning I was wondering if other women slept in their rings as well so thanks for posting

I never wear mine to bed. My fingers swell in the night for some reason. The couple times I have fallen asleep at night with it on I wake up and it hurts because it’s tight. I made a really cute ring holder for it to go on at night!

Your ring arrived! It’s gorgeous!! I love it with your band.

I have always slept in all my rings. And showered. And worked out (unless it’s yoga because they can get in the way). I agree with PPs, jewelry is meant to be worn, and a quality ring shouldn’t be damaged by whatever you do in your sleep anyway. I’m lucky that my fingers don’t swell much, and my rings are always safer on me than at the mercy of my cats/husband.

I just occasionally check my prongs to make sure they’re not thinning or bent from rubbing on bedding.
