You would think after losing my set that I would wear my new rings 24/7.  Nope.  I can’t stand sleeping with them because my fingers swell and I take them off for working out with weights or hot yoga and messy cooking or cleaning.

My new set is now more mismatched (my old set was a solitaire + eternity band) and I wear them on separate hands (7 stone wedding band on right hand and split shank halo e-ring on left) and I find it sooooo much more comfortable to have only one ring on my ring finger.

I wear mine to bed!! The only time I take it off is when I shower and put lotion on or I’m doing something hard with my hands! Ive only had my ring a month so I’m still getting used to wearing one!! I will say at first I always took it off because I was scared to break it haha

I wear mine all the time except showering/washing dishes/excercising. I also take it off if I’m doing something that could damage it or get it all gunked up. I would say I wear it 20-22 hours a day? Including sleeping obviously.

Yipeebee:  Mine never comes off unless it’s being repaired.  And I’ve worn my straight for a good long time.  I haven’t noticed anything about it yet.

I take both my engagement and wedding band off at night. My fingers swell at night and it’s super uncomfortable! They fit perfectly during the day so it’s not a size thing.

The only time I take mine off is when I go to the gym, cook something messy, or clean the bathtubs. I have had it for 15 years and the only time I messed up a prong is when it caught on the carseat strap funny. I am still not exactly sure how it happened.

I feel so naked without my rings on when I leave the house, but the instant I get in bed I MUST take them off. I’ve slept with it a few times and have woken up with a swollen finger so it’s uncomfortable. Other than that, my ring is on at all times.

I did the first few nights, but after getting it resized, I’ve found that my fingers swell up too much while I sleep. My solitaire also sits pretty high, so I would worry I’d smash it on the sheets or something. But I put it in the same place every time before I go to bed and put it on first thing in the morning. I don’t wear it in the shower or cleaning, either.

Yipeebee:  When I first got engaged, I wore my ring to bed and kept waking up during the night (I’m a very sensitive sleeper!).  I guess I got into the habit of never wearing to bed after that.  I’m also paranoid that I’ll damage it in the night, which based on all the bees’ posts, I’m sure wouldn’t happen!

Here’s my lovely!

My ring is a half size too big, and I’m always worried it will slip off in the night as I move around! I have a beautiful dish my Future Mother-In-Law gave me which I keep it in at night.

TheGridMonster:  aww, thank you! I’ll spam you with another photo I love, it really caught the colour of the jacket I was wearing the day he proposed!
