I am having a hard time selecting a person or people to hand out flowers before the wedding and make sure everyone has their corsages and boutineers. My florist does not perform this service.
Who are you appointing (or who did you appoint) to hand out the flowers before the wedding?

We have a coordinator but, if not, we would probably ask a good responsible friend that knows our family well so she will know who gets what.

You and the groom? They will be delivered together right (grooms side to the grooms location/brides side to teh brides location) so surely you could both find 2 minutes to say- that’s mine, that’s yours, thats mums etc.

I had never ever thought about this. I guess I’ll do it? Or the venue coordinator?

If I had the time, I would definitely like to do it! But I won’t be present when the musicians, ushers, pastor, program attendants, and host couples are arriving. We do have a church coordinator who is responsible for assembling the bridal party before the service, so maybe she would be willing to pitch in.

My day-of coordinator will do it.

We took this as an opportunity to have a couple of friends/family members be involved when we didn’t otherwise have a role for them. We opted for a really small wedding party, but we thought that my cousin who is nearest to me in age and FI’s good college friend would both enjoy being asked to do something, so we put them in charge of distributing the flowers at the church and setting up the centerpieces at the hotel. We’re recognizing them in our program as “floral attendants.”

The church coordinator will hand them out. The corsages/bouts are labelled with names.

My brother picked them up from the florist. Dropped off the bouts for the guys. They struggled a little figuring it out and had extras in the limo ride over I discovered. (My dad wore his uniform with medals so no bouts…they thought the ushers didn’t get bouts so they had 1 they couldn’t place and 1 for my dad.)
In my room they handed out the others. We ordered one for his grandmother, who couldn’t make it and I forgot to cancel that order, which confused people.
In both cases, I told them who they went to, they doled it out amongest themselves no problem. Someone handed out the flowers to the readers, I’m guessing one of my two reader friends that were super duper helpful.
