Pretty much everything! I thought he’d be atypical and let me get on with everything by my (control freak) self. Wrong! He has an opinion on everything! E.g., the type of M and M’s for our favours (I wanted peanut, he wanted plain. He eats peanut ones btw, just preferred the ‘shape’ of the plain…)

The wedding colors. He’s been very opinionated about what colors we have and doesn’t want anything too bright. So I wanted to do purple, black and silver and he said no because those are the colors of a football team he doesn’t like. WTF

uhh yeah church decor I’m like WTF that’s why we choose a pretty church! So that we’d have no decor then I find out he is okay with spending a few hundred to decorate it.

HAHAHA boys are so funny! I was actually surprised that the other day when we decided maybe we SHOULD register for china, that I picked one out and put it on the registry but he wants to go see it in person. I don’t understand why he cares to hold it in his hand!

@smiles4jo:  The DJ lol- it was maybe the only thing he was actively helping me select. Although he also jumped all over the food for the reception and was thrilled when I suggested to him that he wear patent leather high top converse with his tux (he’s addicted to sneakers like I am to shoes, it’s hilarious!).

Cake and cupcakes. We have a full on dessert candy bar so I didn’t think we needed anything other than our lil 6 inch cake to cut into (we’ll have plenty of desserts for everyone) but he got really serious, we HAVE to serve cake! Then we decided cupcakes were easier and I thought well let’s get 100 cupcakes (230 guests) since we have such a big dessert bar. He looks me dead in the eye super serious “The LAST thing you want at a wedding is someone saying they didnt get a cupcake!” lol oh geez! I like your stamp thing better though!

The icing on the cake – no fondant.  And the color purple – not allowed to be present anywhere.

I just had to post on this thread….O-M-Goodness! We went to register a couple months ago and we actually got into a little fight about about our china pattern!!! Really?!!?! I would have never thought he’d actually care about something like that!

Fiance wants candy bowls for centerpieces, dark green as one of our wedding colors, he wants to pull a rubber chicken out from under my dress when going after the garter, and he wanted to select a venue where an open field was available, upon which he intends to have his buddies get together for a little game of touch rugby after the reception.  I thought it would be really awesome to have a Fiance involved in the planning, but really- rugby & a rubber chicken??

His biggest concern has been bridesmaid shoes. He lost because they all have different feet so they all have different shoes. He cared about stamps and other random things I could have cared less about.

@smiles4jo:  Haha! That’s hilarious. I didn’t even know you could get fancy stamps. I’ve yet to be surprised by my fiancé. He cares what we will be eating and drinking, but says nothing else matters to him. So I guess we will see!
