Living in the US but not a citizen. I “would” vote 3rd party but if I was actually voting, I would probably be guilted into voting Hillary because I just can’t stomach aTrump presidency.

Canadian here – and obsessed with watching CNN, the conventions and all the new developments! Given what I see, I’d vote Hillary, although when Bernie was still in it, I was undecided between the 2. But never, ever Trump, EVER. That man will do so much damage if he’s elected.

Interestingly enough, I’m 100% Conservative (basically republican) at home, never Liberal (democrat). I find huge differences between the similar parties here. From what I can tell Republicans tend to be more ‘religious/Christian’ thinking, while Conservatives (republican equivalent) in Canada tend to be more ‘big business’, and not at all religion driven. I would say Liberals/Democrats seem to be very similar.

For the sake of the US and the rest of the world, I hope Hilary is your next president. Can you imagine if WOMEN ran the world?? It would be a much better place.

WillowBee33 :  while the media portrays Republicans as Evangelical or very religious Christians, the majority of people that I know who vote Republican are not religious or even Christian.  They are just fiscally conservative.  That’s all.

Aussie here. I’d have to research third party candidates because I’m not super keen on Hillary, but never Trump. I liked Bernie Sanders.

WillowBee33 :  We had a female Prime Minister in Australia and honestly, it was saddening to see the amount of vitriol she faced based on her looks and gender. Like, you understand that people will pay out on politicians they don’t like, but to hold up signs saying “ditch the bitch”, to mock the way she dresses and her voice and her hair colour, just seems unnecessarily cruel.

garnobella :  I am in the US but unable to vote – if I could I would vote for a 3rd party but since that might just serve to tip the balance in the Donald’s favor I would vote for Hillary.

She isn’t my first choice but the second choice is far scarier. 🙂

I would vote Hillary. If Trump is elected, and I’m becoming increasingly convinced he will be, the U.S. will be an international laughing stock 🙁 I don’t know much about American political process, but my partner says because of the way legislation is passed he at least won’t be able to make any really damaging changes

Beegritte :  Your partner is semi correct in that the US system is theoretically one of checks and balances- the legislative, judicial, and executive branches. unfortunately, if Trump were to win the presidency and  Republicans also retained control of Congress, the damage he could do would be immeasurable.  Furthermore, the next president will likely appoint multiple Supreme Court justices, which would allow Trump to stack the judiciary to ensure that his legacy would continue for generations.
