my BFF got TONS of stuff from her C&B registry, and I was really impressed by how well hers was wrapped, too!

They are really passionate about securely packaging their items! They even wrapped my towels when I ordered them online! I always feel badly for the environment.

hahaha I know EXACTLY what you’re talking about! I unwrapped 1 appetizer plate from C&B at my shower & decided not to unwrap anymore until we were actually going to use them & take them out of the box, since I knew what the rest looked like! (and because I felt like it took me 5 minutes just to unwrap 1 dish!) They do pack them really well, which is nice, but I do feel like it’s maybe a tad overkill.. haha.

I think it also depends on where stuff is coming from too. We got two packages, each containing 4 plates, from two different locations. One was in a medium box, the other was in a box twice the size of the first, WTF?!? Wayyyy too much packaging. It is a pain to get rid of!

The other day we received a glass bowl that was wrapped in yards and yards of that white corregated paper, in bubble wrap, in a box, in another box. It was actually kind of hilarious! The wrapping is insane! Such a waste…at least it’s recycled paper…??
