That’s something I did by accident.
Originally I made my very own bridesmaid t shirt, tote bag, and "will you be my bridesmaid?" cards..Ok, so they were super cute..so I put them up for sale! Sold enough to almost buy all that for them (well maybe not enough for the stamps and tote bags), and got hooked. Made a few more things, sold a few more too.
I’ve created some personal template now for STD postcards for T and I, and I think it’s a blast making stuff. Stamps, t shirts, all that.
This has led to me feeling I could venture out a bit more creatively speaking. Now I really think I can create my very own Engagement announcement cards..paper source, when the day happens, fling the doors wide open for me!
DIY’ing it has been something I’ve gradually moved into feeling good with. Kinda like slowly wading into a cold swimming pool or something.
But I think I can do it! And I will be able to buy my own stamp of approval too!

I love Zazzle. I made custom stamps for our Save the dates as well as picture postcards we have used as "thank you’s " for engagement gifts. Such a personal touch!

You can do it all there..it’s a wierd thing.
I am hardly however a DIY diva. I can plan GREAT though. I’m good with color, style, arrangements, and the like. I also know what I want to see. But cutting, gluing, pasting, doing actual WORK is more difficult for me.
What I’m doing for the b’maids is getting them some gorgeous black damask hat boxes and filling them with the card, the tote bag and t shirt. It’s my way of "proposing" to them! I’m also going to send inside of it a few pics of T, my son and I.
I’ve decided on this for over 6 months btw. So it’s an easy "go".
One of the lovely destination Bee blogger has her pic on the zazzle stamp you might see on the RT hand column on weddingbee in fact!
He he..I’ve designed an engagement announcement stamp with a replica of the ring I want on it. It’s sitting, ready to go.
My kind of designing and shopping..click, create, click some more, it’s at your door!
(damn..I didn’t mean for that to rhyme! lol!)

One of my gf’s is wanting her cat to be the ring bearer (around his collar)..soooo can u guess what I did?
I designed a pet t shirt for him!!!
It’s no get rich quick for designing stuff…I just want to be able to be even and not spend a dime for the stuff for the bridesmaids (made 45 bucks so far!)..but then again, I love to do this and may even do my son’s birtday invites on it!

I’m a big zazzle fan. They have great 50% off sales too. My favorite zazzle score was my STD business cards featuring a dancing kitty wedding couple. Too cute and way cheaper than regular STD postcards and magnets.

I started a shop, but haven’t done much with it in a while. Just simple stuff, but it was fun making it!
