I stared my first Whole 30 on the 2nd of Janaury and i’m doing great! I’m wondering if you any of you bee’s have done Whole30? How did you transition back into “normal food” did you stick to a whole 30 diet beyond the 30 days?

I did Whole 30 a couple years ago! I felt amazing most of the month, and by the end of it, I’d dropped 8 pounds which is pretty impressive since I was already at a healthy weight to begin with. Weight loss wasn’t my goal with it, though. I had gotten bad about going out to eat or grabbing quick foods at Starbucks. It definitely got me back into cooking at home consistently which is a habit I’ve kept since then (I still go out to eat occasionally, but now it’s maybe once a week, not 5 times a week). I did not stick to strict Whole 30 after the 30 days. I love beer, and especially when it came to sauces and dressings, it was too expensive and tiring to only get the Whole 30 ones or make my own. I still read the labels carefully, and that has helped me make healthier choices. I also bought the Whole 30 cookbook, and my husband and I both love trying out recipes from it and have a couple go-to favorites.
