go to New Husband.

Im not sure what thewas are on liquor sales and licensing, but MA has some crazy laws on discounted alcohol. I don’t believe you can get wholesale unless you are an establishment and purchasing from a distributor. The prices at Costco are generally the same as package stores.

Fiance is a wine buyer/steward at a restaurant so we are able to use his business relationships to get alcohol at restaurant cost.

Look into possibly buying from New Husband, which may have different laws and no sales tax.

I was going to say go to New Husband – it’s always going to be cheaper than in MA. Their liquor stores are run by the state, so there prices are really low. And there’s no tax, so you save on that too.

Yup, you can’t get wholesale prices here in MA unless you are a licensed establishment (restaurant or bar) who is going to resell.  Before you buy your booze, make sure your venue explains the license rules on bringing in your own alcohol. Some places, you can only bring beer and wine, and some places there are limits on the quantity. It’s not likely that the liquor board will show up to inspect but it’s very possible that the venue will deny some of your alcohol from coming in, depending on their rules, because if they bend the rules and get caught, the fines are pretty massive.
