I haven’t ordered mine yet but, plan on ordering my roses through costco. I have heard good things about them and the prices are great. For around $500 i am doing all my bouquets, butonaires, corsages and center pieces.

I’ve had little luck finding a wholesale floral supplyer that will sell to the public, or has a reasonable minimum order (we’re talking under $500). I’ve found the online suppliers only ship by the box and I don’t need 150 roses only.

I’ve looked into the Ontario Food Terminal -if you have access to a business in the horticultural industry you can get a membership for cheap, but holy overwhelming!!!

There are several shops on Avenue Rd as recommended by a friend, but i have yet to check them out.

I’m not Canadian, but I am ordering my roses and hydrangeas through costco.  I did a “trial run” last summer and made a few of my centerpieces- they were absolutely beautiful.

One word of caution, however, it took about two days for the roses to open up.  The day I picked them up, they were still closed.  Once they opened, though, they were beautiful for the next week.  So I am planning on picking my roses up 3 days before my actual wedding.

My “splurge” item at our wedding is flowers. I’m getting 20 girls together 2 days beforehand to put together roughly $2000 of wholesale flowers. The thing is that I can’t seem to find them anywhere for too cheap and our costcos don’t have flower departments.

There’s some site that have wholesale flowers, but the prices really aren’t that great. Any ideas of places other than costco?

I used http://www.Flowers4Vases.com for my wedding in September. This guy Scott was amazing he was very knowledgeable with wedding flowers. I saved hundreds of dollars and the flowers so fresh we had to put the lilies in warm water to get them to burst open. I would highly recommend Flowers4vases you don’t need a tax or a resale certificate to buy from them
