I am considering doing most of my wedding flowers myself, with the exception of the bouts, and maybe some bouquets. While I would love to buy my flowers wholesale from a local provider, I don’t even know where to begin looking for one here in CT! I want to use flowers that will be in season, so that part isn’t the problem, but I’d like to know about a reliable source for them nearby. I am so jealous of the bees that live in cities and just breeze off to the farmer’s market right before their weddings! I’m thinking most of the places like that, here in CT, might not have flowers every week or might not exist in a year or two! Anyone know of a great resource?

Can’t vouch for them, but this is a cutting flower farm… meaning you can go out and get cut flowers.

They’re too far from my site to use. I’m looking too for someone in the Stamford area.

Thank you! Our wedding flowers may’ve taken a slightly different turn since I posted this, but they may not have, nothing’s set in stone! I will def. def. keep you in mind! Thank you so much!

I know this sounds a little kooky but my sister-in-law to be used Costco. I did all of her floral arrangements (and her bouquet – eek, the pressure!) and the flowers were nice, and super cheap.

Hi Katie- Luckily, there are several farmer markets here in CT. I sell at Madison, but there are now close to 100 throughout the state with several flower vendors! If you want to email me I would be happy to make some suggestions, or you can check the Dept. of Ag website, and they have a listing of farmers markets throughout the state. Best of luck to you!
