I’ve never been to St. Lucia but my friend went with her husband for their honeymoon and her parents also took a trip there and they all RAVE about it. Said it was gorgeous and romantic and fun! So there’s a couple of positive reviews for you 🙂

I haven’t been yet but we booked our honeymoon there for April! We are staying at Anse Chastanet all-inclusive for a week and may splurge one night at Jade Mountain (1200+/night!). We did look into Jalousie and it looks very luxurious! Haven’t heard of the other one though.

St Lucia is a popular Honeymoon Destination… lol, I’ve answered several Questions about it in the last few weeks here on WBee (do a WBee Search)

You can find MUCH info on the Destination by taking a look at these websites…

Wikipedia – St Lucia… Good for general overview info (geography, climate, major cities, etc)

    St Lucia Tourism = http://www.stlucia.org

and TripAdvisor, the Internet’s foremost spot for Travel Planning… Travel Guide – Reviews (Resorts, Hotels, Rentals, Restaurants, Things to Do) – and Boards / Forums where you can ask Questions of local folks and Destination Experts and get amazing tips and advice.

    TripAdvisor – St Lucia = http://www.tripadvisor.ca/Tourism-g147342-St_Lucia-Vacations.html

I don’t plan ANY vacations now without TA.

St Lucia is a gorgeous island, I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time… it is certainly one that Mr TTR and I are looking forward to on our Honeymoon Cruise

    Hope this helps,

I’ve never been to St. Luica, but me and Mr. Beanstalk are actually honeymooning there in a few months! We were torn as to where to stay too (so many hotels on the island)! We ultimately chose Jalousie Plantation!! It has everything we wanted PLUS it has an out of this world location situated in between the Pitons! The grounds are so lush and tropical! You must check out their spa situated in the middle of the rain forest! I have read nothing but great reviews on Tripadvisor too! We are soooooo excited to stay there. check out my post on it….

While I have never stayed at Jalousie Plantation I can tell you that it is quite beautiful. I spent some time at the beach there and it was amazing. The grounds look gorgeous and of course they were name dropping all the celebrites who had stayed there – Oprah was one of them.

Soon2BMrs.T:  HI!  I’m trying to plan our honeymoon for next summer, and I’m wondering if you can give me some insight or tips on the Anse Chastanet?  It looks stunning, and I love all that it seems to include, but I’d love some personal experience!  Thanks in advance!
