I did them and loved it! I am friends with the photographer so I was more comfortable but it was a lot of fun and my husband LOVED them!

I’m going to do them! ๐Ÿ™‚  I hope he appreciates them!  There is actually a great photographer in the town we are getting married that partners up with a nearby salon & lingerie shop.  It’s something like $250 and you get your hair/makeup done, a credit to the lingerie shop & your photo shoot with a book of your favorite 8-10 photos.

I’m thinking about doing a couple with the wedding photographer the day of my wedding before I get dressed. Maybe standing in lingerie while pretending to put on thigh highs or jewelry.

@lovemyfiance882:  I did a very classy boudoir photo shoot, and my fiancé loves the images! I recommend you go for it!

I did them, I wasn’t going to cuz I REALLY DETEST my body. I’ve NEVER been too comfortable with myself, but I thought hey, I gotta change the way I percieve myself and doing this was definatley a great way to start. I was so sure I wasn’t gonna like any of the pics but I was SOOOOOO WRONG. They turned out AMAZING my photographer had some kinda magical camera or something. ๐Ÿ™‚ It was such a liberating experience and my photographer wanted to use some of my pics in her portfolio and on her website, I was honored. My HUBBY LOVED THEM and looks at them ALL the time!!! I’m soooooo VERY happy I did it.  Here are a few.

My husband wants me to do one of these so bad for an anniversary, but I am *not* thin and just average looking.

I did some and I loved them!  I paid about $450 and it included hair/makeup/lashes and an album (about 30 pictures).  They’re lovely and it was a lot of fun!  I just want to remember how great I looked when I am old. Mine were fairly PG-13 if that makes sense.

I just did a boudoir photoshoot over the weekend and it was a blast! The best thing to do is first find a photographer whose style meshes with what you’re envisioning. Then talk to him/her! Bring a bunch of outfit changes (ours told us to basically bring “everything”) and plan your makeup and hair ahead of time. The night before, I went so far as to put every outfit together on my bed and bag up the accessories I wanted then number them. But you don’t need to be so anal haha.

Mine ended up on the racier side because I wanted some implied nudity (and it ended up being pretty much… nudity haha), but if you want more tasteful/classic looking then just make sure your photographer knows that’s the look you’re going for. And your outfit choices will also dictate this – lingerie sets vs. a thong and a see-thru bra, etc.

I thought it was one of the best things I’ve ever done! I am giving the photos to my SO as a graduation gift, but it was almost more for me and my own self image/confidence than to please him. Do it for yourself, first and your man second.

@Sweetescape1976:  So do you!  Your shots came out beautifully!

@stuckinwonderland:  You may see yourself as average looking, but to him you are the most beautiful woman in the world.  If you use an experienced boudoir photographer they will help you pose to highlight your assets.  There is no way he wouldn’t love the results!

@stuckinwonderland:  I’m a size 22 and had a great time with mine. You should really reconsider if the only thing holding you back is your size! And if you’re worried about your looks, hit up a makeup counter like BareMinerals or a department store beforehand and get a little makeover for your shoot – that helped ease my worries ๐Ÿ™‚
