Oct 2012. By the time we get married, my fiance and I would be together for 7 years engaged for 3 years and 10 months. lol
We took our time and we really want to enjoy being engaged and going into the next phase of our lives.

Over here! A summer 2012 bride!

ME too! July or June or 2012 and by then we’ll have been together for six years!

January 2012 here! I can’t figure out why people hear this date and comment about how far away it is… it’s only a year and a half! (Okay, technically a year and 7 months). So many people have longer-than-one-year engagements, and I think it’s completely reasonable to plan an event in 19 months.

Our date isn’t set in stone (the one I put in my profile is one I just picked at random). I know for sure it will be in 2012, and in summer or early fall.
I would love to do it next summer, but I’m in law school until May, and then I have to take the bar exam in July. And *hopefully* start a new job right after that. So, 2012 it is.

Yup, a 2012 bride here, too. April 14, 2012.
We’ve been engaged for, oh about 6 years!!! lol. My brother keeps giving me flack about when we’re getting married. Originally it was “don’t know, don’t care”. Then, when we finally picked a date my bro exclaimed “WHAT?? Why so long?!?”
The reason is, has always been, gotta get in a position where we can afford it. We’re paying for it ourselves so we can have the wedding WE want. (which, I know for certain, my family and a lot of my future hubby’s is going to HATE, lol).

2012 for us!. we are going to be out of college by then and have ” adult” jobs. we already live together in our little house so we don’t have to work about it. honestly I’m not too worried about planning the wedding because I haven’t started yet. lol

We were July ’12 but were able to bump it up, thankfully. I was planning and obsessing like it was next year anyway, ha!
