We will be doing black suits (FH wants to buy an Armani suit sooooo bad) we will just let the groomsmen wear a black suit they already own or buy one that they feel comfortable in

love the ky derby as long as t doesn’t wear a blue suit!  reminds me too much of a 70s prom.  I really really want M to wear a grey suit with a blue vest and tie (to bring out the blue in his eyes)… we’ll see… lmao!!

Fi wants to wear his black suit and that’s completely fine with me – one less thing to worry about, be fitted for and buy. We’re having a small outdoor wedding so renting a tux was never part of the plan but I am happy to see so many brides ditching the stuffy tux.

I’d rather have our guys wear suits, but Fiance doesn’t want to have to get them to buy suits, since most of our guys won’t already have them.

We’re going the suit route as well. We’re having a daytime wedding & I think a tux would look waaaay too formal for daytime nuptials!

My Fiance is going to purchase a nice 3 piece suit. He wears a suit every day, so we wanted something nicer & more special. IMO the 3 piece is a nice compromise between a tux & an every day suit 🙂

I would have loved to done suits, since we are having a daytime wedding, but Fiance really wanted to have tuxes, so we are having the Calvin Klein grey tux. It looks like a grey three piece suit with a bit of “specialness” to it, so I think it was a nice compromise.

We’re having a daytime garden ceremony so our groomsmen will be wearing light coloured (haven’t decided yet!) slacks with a matching waist coat and white shirt plus a long tie. Still a bit sketchy about the colour cos my BM’s are all wearing different colours (Lilac, Peach, Pistachio green and pale Lemon) and I’d like something that’ll look good with all of those colours…. my Fiance will be wearing a navy suit, white shirt and navy tie – plus I’m gonna suprise him with some customised monogrammed cufflinks and tie slide from Etsy! I’m aiming for a relaxed springtime, garden-tea-party type event and felt that black would be too dark and formal – let alone a tux!!! Plus, in Australia an actual tux is a pretty rare sight!

No tuxes for us, either.

Anyone have any recommendations for a retailer where our guys can try on and buy suits that have locations in both New York and California?

DH and his groomsmen wore black suits – I told him he could wear what he wanted, and he picked suits.  They looked pretty sharp :  )

No tuxes here. My husband and his best man wore suits.
