Hey fitness bees! I brought my packed gym bag to work with the intent of going to the gym right after work.
I am trying to set myself up for success by being prepared and organized. Now I’m involving the bee to hold me accountable 🙂
I plan on hitting my gym and doing about 30 minutes of cardio + some weights (I like the assist pull up machine, wall sits, and a mix of other arm/leg machines :-))
Are you working out tonight? If so, what will you be doing?

Random snow storm here in CT so I didnt make it into work, but normally I do about 30- minutes on the treadmill at an incline at lunch. When I get home I do p90x3 which are aboitu 30 minute workouts. Since today is the last playoffs game for volleyball, I have that tonight too.
At a minimum I do the p90x3 6 days a week.
Its a bit more than the norm, but I’m trying to do all I can to get into really good shape…not for my wedding in less than 3 weeks, but for tough mudder new england in about 2 months that I am running with my then Husband!

I’m doing Crossfit and then hot vinyasa yoga. Our crossfit workout today consists of back squats, sprints, lunges, ring rows, and ring pushups.

I came to work in running shoes, so I have no excuse to back out of the gym today haha.
Crossfit at noon, and then a jog with Darling Husband after work. Today at crossfit we are doing backsquats, toes to bar and running. Eep!

Skittles131: Sounds like a great plan! I would encourage during your cardio work out to add in some intervals (push hard, slow down, push hard, slow down) because I’ve read a lot of research about how much more effective that is. Good luck!

I get on the treadmill 6 days a week for at least 40 minutes each day. I usually do a mixture of high incline at a managable speed or a faster speed at a lower incline. I’m still working on bulding endurance, so I’m not much of a runner yet. But I have noticed I can go a lot longer on a high incline wtihout getting winded.

Skittles131: I should, I’m so stressed and not feeling so great about the way I’m going to look at our wedding in less than 7 weeks. I need to do something…now, can I get myself to go downstairs to the gym after I get home – that’s the real question.

Skittles131: yes! About 30 minuets of cardio, some weight training, usually whatever my Fiance does I do less weight and follow him, depending on what day it is we rotate from legs, arms, shoulders!

Skittles131: i will be doing 30 minutes of fast walking on a high incline, then today is arm day so i’ll do arm machines and free weights, plus some planks! i was supposed to go this am, but i think i was still hungover from my bachelorette pary 😉

I’m doing my Rodney Yee hour long Power Yoga video today after work… I haven’t done it since Thursday :-/

Tonight I’m going to be doing Kenpo X from P90X.. Yesterday was legs & back + Ab ripper.. My butt cheeks are KILLING today, I hate it, but I love it haha
