I had to make FI corral them into going! I was the more persistant one where FI was more “oh ya they’ll go” so I pretty much had to stay ontop of it all!

ETA: I’m pretty close with all of FI’s GM so I had no problemt contact them for anything I needed.

All our groomsmen lived in a different city.  I had the husband ask them to show up at a Men’s Warehouse with the wedding party ID number and get measured.  We already picked out the tuxes.  Since they all had to travel and pay for hotel, we just picked up the tab for the tux rentals.

Probably your FI, but if you are close with them too, you certainly can. But usually it would be the groom’s job.

FI, but you can probably help out, too. I knew what I wanted, and FI liked it, so we went in last summer, had him try it on, gave them the names and numbers for the GMs, and then just recently got the price (because we’re renting by the piece rather than the whole tux) and he sent that info on to the guys.

I would just tell your fi he should get them together to take care of this soon.

For those that went to Men’s Wearhouse, did you buy or rent the groomsmen tux/suits?

I want to buy for my FI but rent for the GMs.

Did your GM’s pay for their own rentals and if so, how much?

I did everything that pertained to women.

He did everything that pertained to men.

He had no say in anything I or the women wore

I had no say in anything he or the men wore. I did pick out the tie because in the end, he couldn’t make a decision and asked me to

Worked out GREAT.

if your Fi is interested in that i would def say go for it. It is one last thing for you to worry about. It is prob easier for him to get in to contact with all of his friends any how.

I went with DH to Men’s Warehouse to pick out his tux. I think once you decide what you want they keep it in their system and your groomsmen can just go in individually if needed.

Yeah DH and I went to Men’s Warehouse and picked out the tuxes.  Then like PP said you give them whatever ID number and they go in and get measured by x date.  They are financially responsible for renting their own tux.
