I know a lot more about cooking than Fiance does.  He is learning though, just needs practice.  He used to follow the instructions on the mac and cheese box to the letter, now he’ll just eyeball the milk and butter and can figure out when the noodles are done without using a timer.  Gotta start somewhere.

@worldtraveler:  Darling Husband is a way better cook. I can do it, but for him he isn’t afraid or alzy at trying new recipes, no matter how many ingredients. When I cook, I can do a great job if I stick with it until the end, but I usually end up impatient and frustrated easily, especially if I have too much to do at once. He is sorganzied in the kitchen and loves to cook all sorts of food. I am more of a baker 🙂

We both cook and bake very well. He did have to teach me french cooking, and now I can do it just as well as he can.

Darling Husband is really good with spices. He can make the most bland things taste amazing! But I’m good with day-to-day stuff. He would never make it if he had to cook every day.

I’m good at taking something really simple and making it seem really good. He jokes that when he goes to the cabinet, he can’t find anything to eat, but somehow I can make dinner for a week.

I am a little better than him. He tends to burn things quite often (however, he made dinner last night and it was perfect, so I won’t discredit him too much!)

Sadly, I am. He could happily exist on peanut butter sandwiches and Ensure for the rest of his life.

He’s better at cooking meat but when it comes to adding vegetables or spices he is clueless (so that’s where I come in). Overall, we’re not fantastic cooks but we’re getting there!

We are both pretty good cooks. I cook more often but I think he’s a little better at it than I am. This reminds me than I need to convince him to cook more. :p

He is a bazillion times better.  He enjoys cooking and makes up all sorts of healthy yet delicious recipes.  Whereas I literally burn water and would survive on steamed broccoli, string cheese, and red wine without him.

I am alright at cooking, but I don’t really care to. He loves it, and tries cooking new recipes much more than I would. The way to my heart is through my stomach 😛

We’re both pretty good, but my husband has culinary training and worked in restaurants for years.  I would say he has much better knife skills and technique, but I’m more creative when it comes to flavors.  We work well as a team 🙂
