Me! I make 100% of the meals in this house. When we met, he was the cook and I was the girl who burned toast, but now that we’re married and I’m underemployed I’ve turned into a total foodie. He can cook like a charm, but I’m more interested in branching out and trying new, complicated dishes (plus I have the time for all of it, lol). Even better, he does 100% of the dishes! We’re both very happy with this arrangement. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am the true cook, but he loves it now, too and lately he has been cooking more than me. I’ve taught him a bunch of recipe and tips. Sometimes we cook together. We are doing the entire Thanksgiving meal this year, which will be interesting. I’ve got it planned out to prep as much as possible and make the pies the day before.

I love to cook so I definitely do more of the cooking.  There are 1 or 2 meals he ALWAYS cooks but most of the time its me.  We also have pizza nights where I will make the pizza (we use Trader Joes pizza dough) but he puts in on the grill, checks it and cuts it) so he says we are both cooking then ๐Ÿ™‚

I really enjoy cooking and so for the last five years I have done most of it with Fiance as my “sous chef.”  For the last eight months though, he has been getting home two hours earlier than me and has been doing all of the cooking during the week, with me cooking on weekends.  We just got a car for me (yay!) so now I am able to get home much earlier and cook again.  I am happy and so is he.

I get off work at 4pm every day (unless I work OT) so I anticipate being the cook most of the time when we live together full time. However, so far for this month of living together, I would say that while I’ve done 90% of the cooking, he always asks how he can help and he always (ok, almost always ^_^) initiates clean up and does most of the dishes.

But I really like to cook for the most part, so it doesn’t bother me. I do get grumpy nights where I’m hungry and can’t think of anything to make and don’t want to bother, and when I’m by myself that’s a take out night or a tortilla with cheese and lunch meat, so we’ll see how that goes and what Mr Spin steps up to the plate to make. ๐Ÿ™‚

90% me, 10% Fiance.  I’m hoping this changes when we live together because he will be working from home (and able to at least start dinner).

Hands down he is, but I’m the one that’s great at ordering take-out!! ๐Ÿ™‚

We’re also about 80/20 in our house.  I have limited time when I get home since I get up super early, I go to bed early, so the last thing I want to do is spend my time cooking during the week.  And my Fiance is much more creative in the kitchen.

We both love it, depends on whatever is going on that week or day.  His hours are crazy lately, so I’ve been doing more of the cooking — but then again he’s never home to eat it!

Definitely about 85/15, me doing the majority.  Fiance is great at cleaning though!!

I love to cook! So I do most of the cooking… he’s the one to go to if you want sweets though! He makes awesome cookies ๐Ÿ™‚

My fiancé loves to say that I’m the Chef and he’s the Sous-Chef. He’s living by himself right now and his menu consist of sandwich, frozen pizza and pasta. Every time I talk to him he says I much he misses my cooking. Is really good at doing the dishes!!

I’d say we’re about 80/20 me/him.  But usually while I’m cooking dinner, he’s doing something around the house I’d rather not (snaking the toilet, anyone?  ugh) so I’m basically okay with it.  I usually ask him to make his tuna salad once a week — seriously the best I’ve ever had — and he grils at least once a week.

Right now Mr. DG cooks everything if we want to eat.  I’m rarely home in time to cook dinner, unfortunately… but we love cooking together best!

I am, but it’s my favorite hobby, so I like it that way.
