I’m in 🙂 I want to lose about 14lbs total, but that includes gaining a few pounds of muscle, so in reality an extra few pounds of fat on top of that. My figure has gone to hell in the last year…

@DuckEBee:  Exactly what happened to me! I was doing so well over summer and then the days got shorter and everything became dark and moody and I just felt like sitting on the couch stuffing my face and not doing anything, and bam! there was the weight again. I can’t say I’m surprised, but it’s really frustrating that I let it get this far when I was so close to my goal!

So yeah, I’m in!

@MsYankee:  uuggghh I’m totally not a morning workout person either. But I find that if I plan to go in the evening, I talk myself out of it throughout the day (it’s too late/I had a hard day at work/i have other stuff to do, etc). Now I’m going to bed a little earlier so that I’ll wake up and workout in the AM.

Day 2 of tracking (yayy!) and I know that ALWAYS works.

Whatever you’re doing to lose weight, ladies, stick with it!! Let’s encourage each other day to day!!

@MsYankee:  I’m in! I started with a personal trainer last week, and have been averaging the gym about 5 days week the last 2.5 weeks… the moment I decided I really needed to do something about my bad habits was when a friend I met on our honeymoon posted a horribly unflattering photo of us, with me looking like a giant beached whale next to her.

I have twelve sessions with my trainer, and go 3 days a week outside my sessions with her. Food is what I have the most trouble with, as I love it ALL. But I am trying to make healthier decisions, and eat things in moderation if I absolutely have to have a cookie or something LOL.

I’ve lost about 3.5lbs so far in the last 2.5 weeks!

I’m in!!  My wedding is a ways away, but I have been trying really hard to stay motivated and committed to my workouts and eating better.  I could stand to lose about 10 lbs and would really like to feel a bit more comfortable in my clothes!

I’m in!!! My scale has been creeping higher and higher… not because i’m gaining weight but because im gaining muscle… Ugh, this darn muscle. I can wait for the lbs to melt off! I’ve decided to change it up and do the Dr. Oz diet and Jillian’s 30 day shred!

Let’s get these 10 lbs off!!!!!!!!!!

@nestle:  I’m right there with you! Looking to get to a more comfortable shape by June. I can get away with about 20 lbs by the middle of May to start my fittings, but I still want to get down about 30 lbs total before the honeymoon- cruising for 7 days will not be fun if I’m hung up on how I look.

I was doing well until two weeks ago, had a tooth infection and had to have my wisdom teeth out after a week of antibiotics. Two weeks of not being able to eat is making my body hold on to every single thing I can manage to get down. I can start working out again this weekend, so wish me luck!

@MsYankee:  I’ve been working out atlesst 45 minutes 5 days a week for the last month. I’be maybe lost inches but my weight has stayed the same. I’m trying to not get discouraged, so I’m going to my doctor today. Super nervous, but I’m so sick of this weight and I want to lose the weight before my wedding. I want to lose 10lbs before June, but over all I want to lose 40 lbs. I need to eat better, I know that would help. I just wish I was losing the weight from being more active.

I’m working on it already! I’ve lost about 10 lbs since December, but would ideally like to lose 10 more…but anything would be good. My first dress fitting is 3/8!!

I’ve been really focusing on healthy eating. Cooking more meals at home and eating less processed foods. I also started increasing my gym work outs. I know even losing 10 more pounds won’t change my clothing size, I’ve been there before but it would help me feel more confident on my wedding day and I know I would look a bit better too..

Tag me in!

I’ve rejoined Weight Watchers and have added running to my workout regime. Hopefully since I’m being more diciplined in my workouts and tracking my intake (actually), the weight should work itself off. But having an accountability group is good!

Im in! I have 5-6 more pounds to go before June (engagement pics, shower, dress fittings!).  I have already lost about 8 over the past 4 months (I am already normal weight so it takes me a LONG time to lose weight.  I also have been strength trianing so I have been gaining muscle).

I have been doing group classes a lot as I have found it keeps me more motivated and makes me work a lot harder than when Im working out alone. It also makes it fun and holds me accountable! (at my gym you have to sign up ahead of time for classes.  Theyre free if you show up but you get charged if you miss!)

What are all of your favorite workouts?

just bought a load of fruit teas to drink instead of juice (terrible habit). I sure wish they tasted as good as they smell!

@Bridebee13: Congratulations on the weight loss! I started strength training three years ago and it is amazing – for various gym reasons I’ve never kept it up for more than six months at a time but I’ve always been the leanest and most motivated during those times. When lifting, I look best at 120lbs and muscular; I’m currently 134lbs and flabby. Gah.  I’m moving closer to my gym at the weekend, so I’m starting back up. I’m really not much of a cardio person so it’s perfect for me. I used to have a really elaborate fancy workout that I worked on with a big weightlifter, different exercises for different days, but over time I’ve generally simplified it down to an olympic lift, squat, deadlift, bench, pull up or leg raise, done. Hit the stretching mat for an hour.

So, that’s the new goal. Lifting 3 x week, running for twenty minutes on the 2 days in between, 2 days off. Lots of stretching.
