When I met DH, I told him my new favorite band was Fun. When Fun. came to our area, he got us tickets even though he’s not as into them as I am. It was neat! I find concerts to be pricey, so I hardly ever go nowadays.

The Cure and Tori Amos.

Seen them both. The Cure was last year and an over 3 hour set that blew my mind! Best concert ever, and boy have I been to a lot of concerts over the years.

Foo fighters and I’ve been to every single event they’ve done in Glasgow bar one (I couldn’t afford if) so I’ve seen them like 15 times live.

me and my Fiance love Frank Turner and go see him live annually! It’s the best thing ever.

my favourite big artist (massive audience type of thing) would have to be Pink, and I think I have seen her 3 times? maybe 4? Always awesome 🙂 oh! and we saw iron maiden last year and they were amazing!! DH had seen them a few times, but it was my first. Just brilliant!

My favourite smaller artist is Kasey Chambers (Australian country artist), and I’ve seen her a couple of times now as well.

Least favourite was Rhianna- she was over an hour late and her support ‘act’ was a never heard of DJ who just kind of played beats and not songs… my friend and I waited outside until Rhianna started due to the noise (and I’m usually happy to have any noise!)

My favourite bands are Bon Jovi and the Goo Goo Dolls. My dad really nurtured my love for both by sharing all their albums with me and buying concert tickets for us. I’ve seen Bon Jovi twice and GGD 4 times  I met GGD through his fan club membership back in 2007. It’s one of the only photos of us together because my dad was always TAKING photos. He passed away 2 years ago so I treasure it. Was so weird seeing them the 4th time without him but I love that my favourite bands always bring back memories of him.

I’ve also seen Bryan Adams twice. Always a good one!

David Bowie – I never got to see him live.

I have seen some bands I love though – Sufjan Stevens twice, Pixies, The Bronx, The Descendents (just last month), Comeback Kid, Eels, I used to absolutely love NOFX and have seen them 5-6 times. 🙂

Jacqui90 :  Nine Inch Nails, and yes – once in 2005, three times in 2007, once in 2009 and once in 2014. In Australia, you don’t get as many tours so when a good band come out, you buy tickets fast. I’ve seen Tool several times as well.

The one band I love that I’m still yet to see is Rammstein.

My all time favourite band is System of a Down and I haven’t seen them live yet. This topic upsets me sooo much because in June I’m going to Amsterdam and a few surrounding countries and SOAD is playing in Madrid and Florence while I’m over there. But it would be time consuming and expensive to see them. They are sooooo close but so far. I’m still debating about making the effort to go. They really are my all time favourite band and I will always regret not going if I don’t see them. Last year they came close to where I live but I had a 3 month old baby and was breastfeeding so I couldn’t spend a weekend away from him just yet. Still upsets me to this day.

not sure if I can only pick one band to name as my favorite.. but my favorite live performance by a band was Imagine Dragons.

Beyoncé is also a fav to see live for the performance/aesthetics aspect – Ive seen her twice and will likely go a third… but I really want to see X Ambassadors live –  I’ve watched a ton of recordings from their live gigs on youtube and I get goosies every time.

as far as legends, I’d prob say Bon Jovi. I’d kill to hear “Livin’ on a prayer” live.

Jacqui90 :  Florence + the Machine and I’ve seen her twice! DH and I agree that we will absolutely travel just about anywhere to go see her, but luckily she’s come within an hour of us twice.
