I am constantly amazed what people are doing with lighting for the venues. I love looking at wedding lighting.. could say Im a big fan.
Anyway tonight I found this and it matches perfectly with my venue.
My question is anyone doing lighting similar or allowing lighting in there budget??
if so.. can I see your inspiration please!! 😀

I’m doing special lighting at my reception, but unfortunately don’t have any pictures to show. Basically, we had to hire someone who has the knowledge and insurance to be able to put lights on antique airplanes as we wanted something other than the straight florescent lighting that the museum provides. So i have NO idea what it will look like and won’t until I show up at the reception!

we had uplights like that and it was just simple lights from the home improvement store for lighting the garage while you work so it’s directed. we just put lower wattage bulbs in so they wouldn’t get hot.

We had DIY uplighting. Details on how we did it can be found at this link.

We’re doing “white twinkly lights”. Basically since we’re getting married not long after Christmas we’re going to buy up light sets before when they go on sale. We’ll have white and maybe blue and I’m really hoping for some green, but mostly white I think. Then we’ll string it around the “gym” and whatnot. I think we might borrow a tent thingy from a lady FI’s family knows so that it will be free and not look like a gym lol
