@sparkles_10:

We had pilsner glasses custom made by Jackglass on etsy.com They have each of our groomsmen’s names on them along with a different mustache etched on each glass. They are super cute. Then we also got them ostrich leather dopp kits from FelixStreetStudios, also etsy.com. They have a puffy mustache on them along with the guys’ initials. I guess we have a mustache theme going on? But they are super cute, thoughtful, and different!

FH and all Groomsmen are soccer players, so we’re getting nike bags with their names on the top and initials on the side.  We’re also going to get nike shirts and shorts to put in the bags so they can match during pick up games.  lol!  I loved the idea… FH thought of it all on his own too!  He wanted to give them something that was practical and useful.

We didn’t have groomsmen, what with not having a groom and all.  However, we got Swiss army knives for both our maid of honor and our dude of honor.  The only problem after that was to keep the dude of honor from spending the entire reception checking out all the blades.  😉

all of our Groomsmen are wearing converse high tops with their suits so we are buying the shoes for them as their gift, and my dad owns a country club so they will be treated to a day of golf at the club.

I had a really hard time finding a good groomsmens gift too. I found these and knew it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something I could personalize, but not another boring flask. The website is http://www.Capcatchers.com

Darling Husband also wanted something out of the box. He decided to have T-shirts made that said “I went to J and P’s wedding and all I got was this lousy T-shirt” much like you find at tourist destinations. I thoguth they were stupid and he figured at the very least the GMs would wear them to the gym. They were a huge hit and the printer made them the wrong size which was a bit of a last minute hassel to get the right sizes but we got a huge discount on the wrong sizes which worked for the uncles and my dad who may have liked them even more than the Groomsmen. We also gave the Groomsmen matching argyle socks that I bought with the intention of a photo and forgot about later.

My fiance is getting his groomsmen custom bobbleheads, which i thought was really cool. We also thought about flip video cameras, and ipod nanos, but my fiance picked the bobbleheads. All ideas under $100

Darling Husband wanted personalized hangers from Lila Frances for the guys too, so that was part of their gift, LOL! They also each got a groomsman “day of” type grooming kit with a toiletry bag, lotions, deodorant, etc (one of our Groomsmen had a smell issue so I had to take care of it politely somehow, LOL). Darling Husband went a little nuts and got them each a custom made suit from Hong Kong which I thought was a bit overboard but it’s his money… The guys really liked the toiletry bags though with all the goodies inside since it was less to worry about packing for the wedding.

We’re all big movie buffs and all the guys are tool techie guys.

So we got them all a pop culture-esque funny tshirt (each one had a meaning for each GM), a Swiss Army knife that is also a USB drive (they all have a knife thing) and in a Craftsman tool bag.

We have two groomsmen and two groomsmaids we’re having to get pretty creative on the gifts! They’re all over the place so I’ll be watching this thread for more ideas. One of the girls is a fellow baking junkie but not in the least bit a girlie girl, so I might get her thingies she’d like in the kitchen.
