I don’t know why you are battling on this. Pick the color you like, and the brand and give them some guidelines (long, short, chiffon, silk, etc.) and let them choose what they want.
Honestly, I know you think you are being accomodating by asking them what they want to wear, but with no guidelines, or direction it is REALLY HARD to pick something. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding like this once, and it was a pain in the ass to find something. (What do I want to wear? Ideally, something in my closet already.) The bride finally picked a color and a length and it was SO much easier to find something. So don’t get on your bridesmaids, you are making this overly difficult. You are the bride, you are running this show, pick what you want.

OMG, I feel for you, I was once on the opposite side, the bride was adamant on us wearing the exact same dress, our body types were hugely different. Your proposition of mix and match is perfect.
After a couple of excruciating weeks I took over and found a H&M dress that most liked the bride then made an executive decision to go with that one. It was maxi so the taller girls had it shortened.
ASOS has dresses that come in tall/curvy/petite
I would select max 3 alternatives from that category and the one with the most votes is the winner.

You are not alone! I am literally going through the same thing! My maid of honor is a size 18 and my bridesmaid is a size 20/22 and my bridesmaid is very picky but I also don’t want them to wear the same outfit PLUS I’m asking if they could wear jumpsuits instead because it reflects more of my personality. Please let me know if you have any help with this!

I appreciate where youre coming from, but i have given them guidelines and they didnt like them. I gave them styles i like, colours, and said as long as its within these colours you can have whatever length, and id prefer it if it is similar to these, and they havent even looked. They have guidelines but they arent actually making any effort to even look. Ive had to go and look for dresses within the guidelines THEY set me, so i dont think im being so laid back that its hard work, theyre the ones turning down everything i have found that fits within what THEY have said they want, while still trying to get in what i want too.
Thank you, theyre lovely dresses ill add them into the mix!!
Asos do have some lovely jumpsuits so its worth taking a look there! Depending on budget Phase Eight also have some lovely ones!
