llevinso :  I have been super lucky with maternity clothes from Loft, Gap, and Old Navy. My fave tops have been plain v neck Gap pure body tees or their pure body tanks under cardigans. I check these sites every few days for sales and I’ve gotten really lucky–the tops for $14.97 each, white mat jeans for like $35 from Loft.

I loved my belly band for my pants. You don’t have to button them!

greybee :  Me too LOL

llevinso :  There’s a maternity clothing store in one of the outlet malls near me. I think it’s called Destination Maternity. I don’t know what the prices are like, but it might be worth checking out if you have on near you! Congratulations 🙂

ladyvictoria :

My maternity bras from there were a bit pricey, but I’m not going to lie, my daughter will be two in a few weeks and I still wear them. They still work perfectly so I don’t see the need to buy more bras just because I’m not pregnant or nursing anymore. They are super comfortable.

I think the prices weren’t too good but the quality was great, and you could catch some sales.

It’s ridiculous, isn’t it? I spent for a nice black suit with two pair of pants, a good day dress that I could change up, plus a few decent pieces off the sale rack to get through work. The rest through consignment/resale/ebay/Gap for inexpensive fill-in pieces. It’s five-ish months–you’ve got this!

llevinso :  I highly recommend quality over quantity for work clothing.  I spent a small fortune at Pea in a Pod, but I felt put together while still being comfortable which made it worth every penny.  Joe’s Jeans are my favorite for maternity and still look great after being worn heavily.  Jessica Simpson makes the best nursing tanks and you can catch those on decent sales.

85% of my maternity wardrobe is stuff from consignment or mom swap fb groups. the other stuff i got heavily on sale from macy’s during big sale weekends.

at the beginning of my current pregnancy, i bought a bag of 12 dresses for $10 from another mom.  i figured if 2 or 3 of them were good it would be worth it.  i picked it up, she threw in 2 more skirts and everything was in like new condition and 10 of them were pefect for work.

i saw a shirt for $44 on motherhood maternity.  same exact shirt – jessica simpson, i got at macy’s during their veteran’s day sale when i was pregnant with DS for $12.

llevinso :  I’m right there with you, a “bump” (looks like too many trips to Chipotle followed by ice cream) and boobs that are out of control.

I’m currently rocking some flowy/tunic-y tops I found for a good deal at places like Nordstrom Rack and Old Navy (luckily flowy is in). And I have purchased a couple pairs of pants from Motherhood Maternity (they do crazy sales ALL the time), some really cute maternity pants (that I surprisingly love) from Old Navy, and a couple items on sale from Loft that I like (including pants I’m wearing currently). Also, I’ve gotten some new “transition” bras from Target on incredible sale. They’ll work for now while my bust is still…expanding.

You can find good stuff on resale sites/shops as well.

I’m due in March, so I know I’ll need more than dresses since it will be cold for most of my pregnancy. I’ve just become a sale stalker.
