Okay, I’ve realized I need to start looking at the accessories to go with my dress, and since shoes are my favorite, I’m doing those first 🙂
I want to wear red shoes to go with my theme, but I have to wear flats because when I wear heels I’m taller than my Fiance, haha
So which shoes do you think?
Here’s my dress:
And just for fun, here are the shoes I REALLY wish I could wear:

@thisorderistall: I voted for shoe #2. Those look comfortable and classic … Something you could definitely wear again in the future.
I have to say that I’m incredibly jealous you’ve found so many cute shoe options. I’ve been searching online and in stores for the perfect pair of flats (I’m super short at 5’1″ but I hate heels and absolutely refuse to wear them), and I’ve found very few possibilities. I either don’t like the look of the shoe, the right color isn’t available (I’m really just looking for an ivory shoe so nothing too crazy), the shoe is too plain, the shoes cost a little more than I’d prefer to pay (I already splurged on my dress, belt, and hair wrap so I’m hoping to spend considerably less on my shoes), my size is unavailable (I have small, narrow feet), etc.
Shoe shopping in general is a nightmare for me, but this has been even worse! I’m glad to see someone out there having fun with it!

I love red shoes for a wedding, so whimsical! I really like the idea of silk or satin flats, just for a slightly more formal touch? Ones similar to these, maybe? You could just get plain red flats and add a little vintage shoe clip.
Can you do a little kitten heel, or would that put you taller than your Fiance too?

I love shoes #2! They look so classic and elegant – perfect for a wedding! #4 is a close second and very similar to what I wore for my wedding (only in pink).

I think shoe #2 would look very pretty with your dress!

@peonyinparis: I like those second ones with the bow a lot. I hadn’t really thought of a kitten heel, though that’s a good idea.
