mazorine:  I think marriage is so romantic because it’s making a big promise. Not only to your S/O, but to their families as well. It’s saying; “They are mine, and I want to love and cherish it for as long as I live.” It’s beautiful, it’s sweet, it’s the highest form of commitment to someone you can do.

coltblue:  you’re considering moving in with him but know you will never want to marry him? I wouldn’t move in with him to begin with. If he did something so bad to make you withdraw your preplanned yes to engagement, consider this: is he and the relationship worth the trouble of moving all your things together, signing lease paperwork and security deposits, just to break up soon because you know it won’t go to the next level?

leekissesme:  stefzbee:  the op had been on the boards today on the waiting threads sharing advice.  I don’t know if she’s seen our last comments here but I think there prolly is no update.  He either avoided their scheduled discussion on Jan 5th and/or he only reiterated that he’s not willing to get married. 🙁
