I went to Home Depot today and got a closet rod to put up. Well, I can’t even get screws into the wall to hang it up! I’m barely making a dent in the wall with a drill and bit. *Sigh* I guess I’ll have to wait for my Fiance to come home and do it. I wish I was better at doing home improvement projects.

I usually have a screw on the end of the bit in order to drill a hole. I have never tried drilling a hole in the wall with a screw bit. Unless you have the thin tiny bit that has the corkscrews on it, that shouldn’t have a problem going through the wall.

It takes practice to be handy, but dont’ give up! You can do it!! 🙂

Grrr. I know your frustration! I left a hole the size of a baseball in my last apartment when I tried to put up a curtain rod.
GOOD LUCK!!! It def. takes time and patience. Thank goodness for my handyman bf! 🙂

i know how you feel… the other day right after my husband went out to get us lunch i turned on our sink and the faucet breaks off, squirting large amounts of water everywhere. i had no idea how to turn the water off, so i just sat there letting our house flood (literally, it soaked into the carpet so much that our ceiling has water stains) until he came back and taught me how to turn the water off in the sink. i felt so stupid!
