We chose May 2nd of next year. I’ve always wanted a spring wedding but I didn’t want to do it too early or too late because we live in central Virginia and it could snow late or be too hot early.

1st wedding date (05/30/2020) was a cute numeric, and the perfect compromise between spring & summer wedding.

2nd wedding date (08/03/2019) was available with $10 discount pp when we wanted to move up our wedding.

No particular reason. We wanted a winter wedding and chose February first.

Friday the 13th because I’m convinced that it’s lucky because everyone else thinks it’s unlucky 😆

Well, we wanted a spring wedding. I’m weird with dates, and they need to flow. I gave my fiancé a few dates for April, May, & June. He picked May 4…I didn’t realize it was “May the 4th be with you”…at least he will remember.

November 10.  We wanted a Sunday wedding in the fall, and this was the day our favorite venue had open.

Sept 6, 2020!

It’s a Sunday, so we get a little discount with the venue, but it’s also Labor Day Weekend, so at least people dont have to work the next day.

I’m a teacher so I wanted a summer date since I’m off. We picked a venue first and they only had a Thursday or Friday in June or two Saturdays in July, so we picked the earlier July Saturday. Our wedding is in 11 days, July 20!

We wanted a september wedding, a nice end of summer day, and it was labor day weekend, so now whenever we have an anniversary it will be on or around labor day weekend and we can get a 3 day wknd to celebrate!

I chose 8/18/18 because it was a Saturday, it was summer, and I liked the eights!

We chose 10/31/2020 because I love Halloween! I always wanted an October wedding and when I realized a year or two back that Halloween fell on a Saturday, I mentioned it jokingly to my now Fiance. He actually loved the idea and it just sort of stuck! When we got engaged this past March, we were like, so, are we doing this? Halloween? And that was that!
