@justeen: OMG I totally agree! Being on WB has completely changed what I had originally thought I even wanted in a wedding. I tell myself all the time get offline, get offline and go with what you have. As you see…I’m still here! lol

@ktbrady: i absolutely agree with this! the most unique thing we did at our wedding was the sand ceremony – everyone LOVED it – but only a handful – like maybe under 10 people total had ever seen it before and were in awe of it!

and – as far as “unique” things go…shoot – our entire service was “unique” to a ton of people…I grew up going to the Salvation Army church and so, obviously, our preacher was a Salvation Army officer (my godfather, actually) and – obviously – most people who don’t even know that the S.A. IS a church had NO clue and loved how “different” the ceremony was. While, to me – of course – it really wasn’t that different because it’s what I’d grown up knowing…

But really – when we are constantly looking at such incredible weddings online and see SO much – then of course we don’t think it’s unique to do something – but 9 out of 10 of your guests would have no clue that something you choose to do is “in” now as far as weddings go and anything will be unique to you and your guests! it’s all about perspective!

@Cheeks11: Me too! I try not to browse WB SO often but I can’t help it! I love seeing what others DIY and recaps of all the details!
