In theory that would be what they suggest, I would wait it out, if you are symptom free by the wedding I would just go on as planned sans mask … just don’t kiss anyone other than FH!!

🙁 Hope you feel better. At least you have a few days to get past the contagion period, hopefully.

I’m sure you’ll be fine before the wedding!  I wouldn’t be worried about the spreading of germs as much as the ability to enjoy your day!

Like the ladies said, drink lots of fluids, vitamin c, rest and any home remedies that have worked in the past… You’ll be good to go in no time!

Try and sleep.  I had a thursday event planned before my saturday wedding, and had to send my Fiance off alone so I wouldn’t get more sick, it worked pretty well, no fever, just a bit of sniffles left for the wedding.  Take some vitamin C, and try to not just rest but get a good full sleep in, good luck.  If it doesn’t get better just take good medicine and collapse well all the fun is over.

Rest is key here! And definitely fluids and your vitamins. I’m sure you’ll be fine if you can relax! Sending get wells!

Have you tried Zicam?  It stops colds in their tracks or shortens them, at the very least.

I got sick right before our wedding.  I was so miserable, but I’m sure the stress had something to do with it.  I started takinf Zicam and once we got to the wedding location and I relaxed, I improved a lot and wasn’t sick the day of.  Good luck and take some time to relax.

I got a really bad bacterial respitory infection a week before the wedding. I flipped out! I  begged for my doctor to squeeze me in and she gave me a z-pak. I rested a lot and drank tons of water and OJ. Echinacea really helped a lot too! I was basically 100% better by the wedding (but we had to be ‘careful’ since antibiotics basically make birth control null and void up to 10 days after taking it!).

I got sick 2 weeks before the wedding. My last minute projects took a serious hit but I was glad to get it over with and have time to get better before the wedding.

Drink lots of water, teas, juices, eat comfort foods like soup, sleep and rest as much as possible… I think in 4 days you should be feeling better *fingers crossed!*
