I don’t know if this is what your experiencing, but my dentist did tell me that pregnant woman have more sensitive gums. We are at a higher risk of gum inflammation and our teeth can even become slightly looser because of the hormones etc… Good luck and baby dust to you!!!

i don’t want to get your hopes up too high, but my first symptom with this pregnancy was my teeth/gums hurt. it felt like a dull aching pain, but it was all of my teeth/gums and not just one tooth (like a cavity would feel). it was so weird/random. good luck!!

I know this is an old conversation but i have been searching everywhere… i’m due for AF tomorrow according to an app i downloaded (this will be day 30 of my cycle which has a tendancy to run from 28-30 days.). my breasts have been sore for the past weekish on the sides of both and underneath on one (no nipple issues yet) and somtimes get throbbing pein sporatically. And the weirdest thing is that my lower gums on the front have felt weird… almost as if i have food between my teeth; It doesnt do away when i floss or anything and seems to get worse through to the evening.

It didnt happen to me but I have heard of sensitive gums as an early pregnancy symptom.  Combine that with fatigue…. hmmm…  Don’t want to get your hopes up but you should test soon!

I’m a dental hygienist 🙂  Pregnancy causes your homones to be all over the place, which effects your gums.  Brushing twice a day, and flossing is especially important during your pregnancy.
