(Closed) Why do some Bees start threads and NEVER go back and check them or respond?

Does the OP have less than 15 posts? If yes, they probably will never respond because they are just trying to stir up drama.

Or they were bombarded with negative feedback and don’t want to deal with it.

I don’t think I’ve seen a post that was generally positive in nature where the OP doesn’t come back to respond.

Was it me? JK

Some just post and run.

Sometimes the posts get lost, if the poster does a lot of posts.

I try to go back and respond, but sometimes, if they aren’t on the first or second page of my “started” posts, I don’t see them.

Also, I don’t ever seem to get the notifications from the “Subscribed To Topic via Email” emails; they never show up in my email.

LOL. Yeah, I responded to a really legitimate post once (it was a question about posture). Mine was the only response, and she never came back after that. I assume the OPs are just lazy. It’s kind of annoying after you spend the time giving a thoughtful answer…

So true. This has been discussed many times before but it continues to be bad manners.

Likely they do come back to check for responses- particularly if they were asking for advice or ideas.

How long would it take to say “Thanks bees”?

I just try to remember their name and not respond to their queries again.

I usually try to come back a couple times and reply to the posters, but sometimes I just don’t have time or forget.  =/

But you had me going to check which ones I didn’t post on.  haha =)

I just went back to a few of my recent ones… sometimes I just move on and stop thinking about whatever it is… sometimes I’m rude and read what people have to say and don’t respond (note to self: stop doing that).. I’ve had a post or 2 where people got nasty and I stopped even looking at it because it just upset me, usually I think I’m pretty good though!

Idk… sometimes when no one has commented on my post for a while I kind of forget about it and it gets pushed back and I don’t see it until WAY later or potentially not at all.

I know! it is soooo annoying! However….I have been guilty of this because I have realized that I forgot to check a thread I started once for like a day. But I went back and responded as soon as I realized it.

If my threads are more than a couple days old, I won’t see that they’ve been replied to again. (Unless I notice them on the boards page).

My email notifications go to another email address I made specifically for WB and I don’t actually even remember the password… sooooo… yeah.

I also hate it when they never come back.  I almost always check even my older threads to check for responses and  am usually the last or one of the last responses to my posts.

i try to go back and reply. but sometimes when then are so many replies, i don’t reply to each and every one!  i feel like i kept going back and replying individually to everyone, i would look like i am trying to shamelessly bump my thread all the time!

but i can assure everyone that i READ and appreciate everyone’s replies to my post.  of course, i am sure it happens that i dont constantly check every thread i start and they get lost in the shuffle.

If I don’t reply it’s because my internet has probably given out on me for the billionth time that week, no one has posted in a while and my thread gets lost…

I do try to check them often and I do try to at least post a thank you, but it’s not always logical to comment or respond to every single poster.
