Because they love their veils. πŸ™‚

I spent 12+ hours hand-stitching my veil, so I wanted to wear it a little longer than just the ceremony.  I wore it through dinner then had my dress bustled and removed the veil before the first dance.

i had a chapel length veil that velcro’d off and just left the blusher which I wore for the dances and toasts. I wanted to feel as bridal as possible for as long as possible!

When else can you wear a veil? Especially at how much they can cost!

I took mine off about an hour into the reception because when I started dancing, it got hot really quickly!

I wish I could wear my veil for the whole reception, but it is cathedral length, and I am not sure I would like it bustled πŸ™

For some, it’s just part of the wedding-day look. Some women love wearing their veils; some are ready to take them off. Either works!

I’m wearing a cathedral veil for the ceremony and a different shorter veil for the reception.  I’m in the camp that loves the look of veils and want to feel as bridal as possible for as long as I can.

I am wearing a flower in my hair and a veil over it… so at the reception I can take my veil off and still have something in my hair πŸ™‚

I also just didn’t want to take my veil off.  There is only one day you can wear one so you might as well do it for as long as possible right! I wore mine through cocktail hour, being announced, and my first dance.  And then took it off during dinner.  But mine was fingertip length.. cathedral would have been a little tricky for htat.

I wore my veil through dinner, dancing, the entire reception.  I figured it was the only time in my life I will ever get to wear a veil so I didn’t want to take it off.

Every once in a while, while my husband is working opposite shifts than me, I still wear it around the house  heehee
