cynbarr: I have decided to change my profile pic back to anon because I was able to reverse image search myself using it. I’ll still probably post dress and makeup trial pics with my face.

MrsUPS: I have totally shared my face before. I shared my bridals, my engagements and recaps! I didn’t have a care in the world… until I realized that now my face was OUT there. It was on pinterest, and if you clicked on it it brought you straight to the bee, and then you could see all that I had written about ALL THE THINGS! Lol!

While I am still learning… I try not to share as much anymore. 😛

MrsUPS: Unfortunately not, every picture I post I will have my face cut out or blacked out so you won’t be able to see what a show stopper I was on my wedding day It’s hard though cause there are a couple shots that I really love and would love to share.

I do email some ladies if they private message me and ask a direct question about something but that is rare.

Songstress_7: good idea!! I’m sure I’ll post my face with after my hair and make up trials as well. I don’t mind that — plus, I’m looking forward to all the bees’ feedback!

MrsUPS: Yeah! Mine came up with my twitter account of all things which I never use anyway but directly linked to my name

MrsUPS: I have realized that people I know IRL may find me on here anyways, via the information that I have provided (oops). I have thought about it, but I probably would only post pictures of details without showing anyone’s faces (if I do).
I have posted one picture of myself on here before, but I asked that it be taken down (and it has).
I am aware that the chances of someone stalking me online are low, but it is still unnerving to know that the possibility is there. I have had a couple of IRL stalkers, it was frightening. I never want to go through that experience again in any capacity. I would not wish that on anyone.

MrsUPS: Even after my IRL situations, I didn’t think about the online aspect. It took my cousin’s friend (an ex-teacher stalked by her students), and stories of it occuring on the Bee for me to realize that it is a possibility (no matter how low the odds). Maybe I am just too paranoid!

MrsUPS: I plan on sharing my engagement photos and wedding recaps. I only blocked my face in my wedding dress pics so that people I know IRL wouldn’t see them before the wedding. I don’t think I post anything on here that is so bad that I wouldn’t want people IRL to see. I would probably be slightly embarrassed by some of the things I’ve said but it wouldn’t be the end of the world. I’m not worried about stalkers because I don’t think I’m attractive enough to stalk.

ETA: Maybe that was a naive thing to say. I probably shouldn’t assume that only beautiful women get stalked.
