To answer the question- because I think they are ugly.

I’m not really interested, and it kind of reminds me of scribbling on yourself.

Very rarely do I see tats that actually make a girl prettier, but many times I see them and think they make her uglier.

    Oh, and UGH, bad tattoos.

I want to get one, and I’ve even decided where I would get it, but I have yet to think of a design that I could commit to. I’m horrendously indecisive.

@AmeliaBedelia:  Yeah I know it’s not a permanent thing, but given my luck I’d get one and then one of my daughters would need a kidney or something!

@KatyElle:  I think it only bars you from donating for one year, or at least that’s what I was told when I got mine.

I’m getting one for sure someday, just waiting until I have the spare cash to spend on it.

I want one, and I know exactly what and where I want it.  For now it’s more of a money thing and for where I want it, I think it will be a reward for myself when I get in the shape I want to be in. =)

@KatyElle:  I’ve never heard this. I’ve given blood in NY and TX and I have two tattoos

EDIT: Just saw you said for one year 🙂

My Fiance and I got matching tattoos in white ink on our wrists. You can barely see it but it’s enough to know it’s there. It’s very special to me.

I have several that I want, but no funds right now to pay for them, although the smallest one (a small blue feather right behind my ear) will probably be doable before the wedding. I hope so. I’d like to have it in my pictures 🙂

I’m just not a fan. I don’t have anything that I don’t think would look ridiculous at age 80, so I just leave my body alone :o)

I have 10 tattoos. I think its rude for some of the comments on here and no one shouls be judgemental for SOME ONE else to have one. I respect if you dont like them and YOU would never get one but dont call someone else ugly because you think they are…..People get tattoos for personal reasons for themselves only….not for you to judge or call them ugly.

There is nothing wrong with having or wanting tattoos. If you really want one and it means a lot to you then thats great! Dont let anyone else sway you away from something you want or thinking about doing.

I want one but I am such a baby about pain. I don’t want to look lame if it hurts me too much and I want to cry haha. That is my main reason, plus I don’t have money currently. I really want one for my Grammy and one for my Papa both who have passed though.

I don’t like tattoos. There’s nothing that I would want permanently inked on my body. I could care less if other people have them as long as they were professionally done and look decent (I’ve seen some atrocious “beginner” tattoos) but they’re just not for me. The only time that I would ever consider getting one would be if someone close to me passes and even then, there are other less painful and permanent ways to memorialize someone.
