So, of course everyone knows I had major dress decision drama. AND, in the end I’ve purchased the amazing, fun, want to run through a field in an Estee Lauder Beuatiful commercial dress from pronovias.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not everyone. I know some will think it’s a bit much. AND, I did try others that were really similar but without the tulle from designers like Maggie Sottero, but… common, I LOVE MY DRESS! So, imagine my surprise when I read on the wedding bee blog from Miss Nachos… “This next one actually looks really good in the picture, but the tulle on the bottom side part made everyone giggle, and someone told me I could jump in the ocean and catch fish in it for dinner after the ceremony.” “Me – Why did the tulle just look so wrong when I had it on? Lobster? You want lobster for dinner? OK, let me go catch you one:”
Wait a sec…. The tulle on the side looks like a fish catching net? And Lobster? Well, that’s what my mom says the french bustles on the back remind her of, my 4th grade lobster costume in the school play.
Sigh…. can we please stop referring to this dress and style with the word “Lobster!?”
Ok, rant over…. 😉 And Miss Nachos, I know you mean no harm…
ETA: I hope people get that I’m not mad, I just find it funny and ironic! For reals, what are the odds of 2 lobster references? 😉 lol
“Disclaimer, this is more satirical and ironic and not something I’m really concerned with”
