I will be 4 weeks in two days. The cramping started right after my first faint bfp at 9dpo. It scared me a lot at first thinking I was getting my period early and having yet another chemical. But they feel distinctly different. Sharp twinges and pulling rather than the dull ache of AF. I’ve had some soreness today. Will breathe easier when AF doesn’t show.

I had tons of cramping (and spotting) with both of my pregnancies throughout the first trimester, and then I got terrible- and I mean terrible hip pain. You’re not alone! But you’re right, and I think another poster mentioned it, I think you sort of forget all of the stuff that happens (maybe thankfully). Hope you’re feeling better soon!

Redholix : Thanks for responding the other day. It definitely made me relax a bit. I think because it was the day that AF was due I was probably just a bit anxious.
They seem to have more or less tapered off as well but I’ve had a couple doozies today!
Also, if it makes anyone feel better – when my cramps started, I just kept thinking about the people who aren’t trying and don’t realize they’re pregnant until their period doesn’t show up and getting cramps must have something to do with not suspecting anything.

2 pregnancies and both times I 100% thought my period was coming because I had menstrual cramps. There is a lot of cramping early on. I had “normal” mentrual cramps and then heavy implantation bleeding with my first baby and so I assumed that was my period. It wasn’t and I didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was already 8w along. My second baby I had cramps and a temp drop on my charts so I assumed AF was coming but never did and my temps went back up and no period so I knew I was pregnant then.
