@eehkay:  God. I can’t even imagine. I can definitely understand how it’s hard to get over something like this. It takes me days to get over encountering a mean person just in passing. When I’ve been wronged and it’s wedding related, it’s hard to shake!

Ever still, you are just stunning. Love all those pictures. They are magical.

I hope they get what’s coming to them.

You need to contact the store again.

1. Force them to give you the info to contact Pronovias directly. They can’t refuse you that.

2. You need to ask them for the UPS tracking number relating to your ‘material’. You had paid for the material therefore you owned it and have every right to this tracking number. Then call UPS and ask when it was delievered.

Please keep us posted. I’m riveted to this now. I honestly can’t believe it can even be true.

So in the end you did not get sleeves at all?  How ridiculous.

Mary Linn’s is why I decided to order my dresses that I wanted to try on from BHLDN. Snooty B’s

@oracle:   I would agree with this.  If you go through the BBB, then you can’t take them through small claims.  Also if you go through the BBB, they’re only supposed to give you what you originally wanted/paid for (and the bare minimum, at that).  Nothing extra unless it’s “out of the goodness of their heart”.

I learned the hard way. 🙁

I would have destroyed them. Destroyed them.

Such a crazy story!  Those pieces of fabric are definitly not what the company sent, and were clearly taken off of your dress.  What they did is ethically wrong, but also criminal.

Just read about your dress, how unethical is that? Any progress with it?

I have the Laertes and the appliques are so intrinsic to the dress that cutting them off is a crime! Really feel for you.

I also have the Elie Saab Laertes dress if anyone is interested. Selling it in classifieds, it’s a sample which was supposed to be for my wedding next year.

Experiencing the dreaded ‘dress regret’…i have my eye on a Vera Wang! I still love the Laertes, as you can see from eehkay’s pictures it really is stunning.

Wondering what ever happened with this dress? It just popped into my mind randomly, I am still upset about it.
