currently we’re long distance which kinda sucks and I get lonely. I’ve been getting upset in the studio recording cuz i don’t like how my guitar sounds. well he texted me this morning with two things in the picture. 1. he bought me a new electric acoustic guitar and 2. plane tickets to see him in the next few weeks. He makes my life easier and knows how to make me smile. Honestly this is the first time that he’s done something that makes me love him that’s monetary. Usually when we’re together and I’m upset he does the same for me as you. He gets me pizza even though I’m a health freak too and that makes everything all better. 🙂 both him and I have our hearts in our stomachs

Recently my husband has been really thoughtful. I’m hoping it isn’t just a phase. He offered to clean out the garage, so he’s doing that on Tuesday (we’ll see, but if he does do it, it will be HUGE. Our basement is gross and causes me so much stress.) Also, on his day off this week he made dinner and had it ready when I got home (rare for either of us).

He has been so helpful lately. I’ve been working on my graduate thesis (ugh), and whenever I’m in writing mode, he takes care of things–cleans the porch, cleans up after dinner (which I always cook). He’s also considerate while I’m working, leaves the room if his phone rings (which is constantly), and doesn’t get offended if I get snippy when he tries to talk to me when I need to concentrate.

He’s going to make sushi for us, and my sister and brother-in-law, who will be our first houseguests tomorrow night!–and it’s HIS birthday.

He has listened to me talk about my thesis research, trials, and tribulations every day, and tried to show interest even if I’m talking a different language.

He started fixing the broken sink last night and is coming home from work midday today to finish the job.

BIGGEST thing I love from my Darling Husband right now: he’s willingly going to counseling with me and a couples’ workshop, regardless of how expensive it is (and it is). We have some communication issues, and he is willing to admit it and work with me to make things better.

I love him!!!!
