The color changes as your post count rises.

Its to distinguish your post count from other bees who are posting. See how mine is darker yellow?

the more posts you have, the darker you get.  I like to think of it as a chance to scroll through a long post and read a ‘high lights’ reel.  You can chose to just read what the sage heavy hitters of WB wrote =p

I can’t even see some shades unless I tip my computer!

Ahhhh, I’ve wondered this, too!!!  I always thought there was maybe a profile colour selection tool, where you could choose the background.. πŸ™‚  I’ve also thought it would be useful if all the posts made by the OP in a thread they’ve started were highlighted in a bright/different colour – then you could scroll down and easily see the updates they’ve made since their original posting, before you comment. πŸ™‚

@MalbecMe:  that is brilliant.  I always feel like a jerk when I missed an OPs update and I respond to the original statement.

@murmur:  Me too!  And some days I don’t have time to read through the 150 comments to see that OP actually made/shared her decision on post 65…. πŸ™‚  And then I feel like an ass when I find out later that she decided to go with dress 1, and my comment says “dress 2 is WAAAAAYYY better than dress 1!”

Most of the posters here look pink to me, I wonder what color mine will be when I hit submit?

Darker pink?  ummmm?

@MalbecMe:  LOL.  and I ALWAYS pick the wrong dress! I think I’m fashion challenged.  Sometimes I decide the dress I like, then just show the poll results and see that I was so far off the general consensus it’s unreal.  I usually just bow out without voting when my dress had 4 votes and the other had 142 =/

Oh cool! I was kind of wondering what it was too.
