Has this happened to anyone else? I am less than 30 days out and so much is not going to plan:
my hairstylist may not be available on the day
my grooms grandparents can’t make it and possibly his father
my catering manager quit today and I have to work with a new person.
i could not get off work so my shower was cancelled. why is all this happening?
trying to stay positive

Aw! I’m sorry! That all sucks the big one. But try to focus on how amazing it’s going to be to marry the person you love!

Try to stay positive and keep it all in perspective. Even though things arent going so smoothly, you are still moving toward your big day! If it makes you feel a little better, I am less than 25 days out from my destination in Cabo. Well, you may have heard the news reports– Hurricane Odile basically decimated the area this week. So it is likely that we will have to postpone our wedding, after a full 18 months of planning.
Before this week, I was lamenting a lot of the similar stuff you are now… which are HUGE frustrations, I am in no way discounting them. But right now, all things point to you having a wedding! will it be less than perfect? probably! But you will have it and you will be gorgeous!

It probably won’t help, but here goes.
I’ve been married 2 years, on our anniversary both my husband and I tried to remember what our wedding meal was… we couldn’t. It is surprising what you think is important now and what you will remember.
I understand the family not being able to be there is a different issue, and only you can decide if you still want to have the wedding without them or postpone for when they can come, but things like hair stylist/food – don’t stress about. There will ALWAYS be someone available to do your hair and it will look lovely 🙂
A couple of years down the line you won’t even care about your wedding that much, you’ll care about your marriage :=)

Try not to stress! In the end it will all work out. I’m 8 days out and this past week I had to fire my original photographer and find a new one, lost my marriage license (but thankfully found it last night:) and couldn’t get a hold of two of my vendors, making me scared they wouldn’t show up!
It all worked itself out, but, that’s just the nature of planning such a big event. In the end, it will be beautiful and will work out exaclty how it is supposed to, so just focus on the things you can control and don’t sweat the stuff you can’t! Good luck for smooth planning the rest of the way 🙂

Thanks bees! This is very helpful and I will try to keep everything in perspective. I haven’t been a bridezilla at all and I refuse to be. Thanks all!
