So I’ve written about my crazy sister before. The one that complains about the length of the dress, than the color, then when I go with the dress she wanted she complains about that dress and complains about the color I chose on that dress. The one with OCD so bad she can’t function to the point where she brings her own chair to my parents house but will go sit on a bar stool at some nasty dive bar somewhere. Yes the bridesmaid that I asked to be a bridesmaid simply because I thought it’d be easier than having a family feud…I’m not sure I was right on that one.
Well my sister got written up the other day for the second time at work and feels that it’s time to find a new job because her bosses just aren’t fair. That’s a great plan but looking for a new job does not entail calling your little sister (seriously I am 9 years younger than her, I’m 28, she’s 37, she is a grown woman) and telling her I’ve been at mom’s house on her computer and spent 2 hours yesterday and 2 hours today trying to submit my application online and nothing’s working…can you do it? No because in case you’ve forgotten I’m doing a crap ton of stuff for my wedding. The one that you’ve not only not helped me do anything for (wait I take that back, she went to Michael’s to pick up my favor jars and then stood over mine and my parents shoulders and told us what we were doing wrong while we were assembling them) but you’ve complained about every single thing. She sends me her resume and proceeds to tell me not to email her at work about it. Then calls me back and calls me again because I didn’t answer and tells me to make sure to use my private email address and not my work one because it sounds more like her name. Uh yeah this means that I’ll be getting all of the responses to her resume and I’ll be the one having to deal with them unless I want to give her the password to my email. Then proceeds to call me 3 times the next morning at 7:30 in the morning to tell me to apply for anything that she’s qualified for that sounds cool. And she’ll do receptionist work but doesn’t want to just be answering the phone all day. Oh yeah and make sure I don’t post her resume because she doesn’t want her employer to see it. Then calls me 3 times last night to make sure I got her messages and to check the status of HER job search. WTF?!?!?! I went off on a tangent to my mom through email and she told me to ignore her. Really? Because that’s really possible. I had to turn my phone off last night and my mom finally told her that I don’t have time…because really 25 days before my wedding that thought didn’t occur to you on your own? I’ll help you look over your resume (she tried to get me to write her friends resume for her at one point) or give you suggestions of where to look but no I’m not spending hours doing your job search for you just because you are too crazy to turn on your computer at home. I really did give her some great information on where to look for a job, I had to contact some friends from back home and got the ball rolling for her but she never followed up on it so now I look like an idiot and she won’t ever get a job from them. Seriously I’m done. I can’t live her life for her anymore.
