Honey, I have the same problem. It was a gift from my mom and I feel sooo terrible telling her I actually don’t like it anymore.

What I did was go for a reception dress that I’m head over heels, flying by the moon, crazy in love with. I paid for it myself so I still have my mom’s dress that is pretty and I do like it, but it’s just not THE dress I should have picked.

The reception dress is everything I could have wanted and a bag of chips.

Just remember that the dress is just one small part of a very complicated and detailed day 🙂 That’s what I keep telling myself.

Why not buy another one as an alternative wedding dress? With that price it won’t break your bank, and it is another chance you get what you want for your wedding! Brides should be happy on the wedding day. Just a kind advice so that you have no regrets.

You still have a few months to go before the wedding. Try to focus on other aspects of the planning for now, and don’t be sad about your dress. I bet when you go in for your first fitting, you’ll feel the magic you did when you first bought it! And don’t forget how much accessories, hair and makeup will bring the whole look together!! 🙂
