I have a .79 cushion and a size 3.75 ring finger. I would have liked a bigger stone ideally, but I think it looks pretty nice since my hands are petite and offers enough coverage for this point in our lives (23).

@wrkbrk  lol. I don’t want to thread jack either. You should take a look at her etsy store. @wrkbrk if you’re still interested in real pics of my ring i’d be happy to start my own thread showing some close ups!

@nicole1276  I feel the same way!!! I know a couple of engaged ladies who have 0.7 carat stones that look larger than my 0.8 carat center stone! I think it has something to do with the diamond’s cut and how it is set. My finger size is between 4.5 and 5.

Mine is just under .75 and I wear a size 6.25

I don’t think your diamond looks small, OP.

I had a .73 H&A when I first got it…it seemed HUGE! But then after I put it in a new setting  and wore it for a few months, it seemed to shrink and shrink! This is called DSS…diamond shrinkage syndrome..ha. I now have a 1ct and it did the same thing. The only temporary cure I have found is to not wear it or not look at you ring for a few days and then clean it. It will seem bigger to you.

@cmsgirl  well thank you 🙂  We had it custom made from a photo online which depicted it with a 1 ct centre, so I guess I am always comparing it to the look of that size centre with the setting.

I don’t think it looks tiny at all! Mine is close to the same size (although it’s cushion cut, which looks smaller anyway) and it doesn’t look any different to yours.

I find mine looks larger from far away.. it’s the sparkle that I think makes it appear larger.
