Not cool. If he can go with just his friends so can you. You’re trusting him and he needs to trust you.

I’m a huge feminist and it really irks me when my husband gets all protective like I can’t handle myself in a particular situation.

My best friend lives in Brazil and he is adamently opposed to me traveling there to spend time with her alone.  He is afraid that something terrible is going to happen to us without a man there to protect me. I have finally gotten him off my back by having her younger brother agree to fly down there with me. It is silly, but if it makes him feel better fine….

It would drive me crazy that he thinks hes allowed to travel alone but you cannot be trusted to. The inner stubborn in me would tell him I’m going and he can’t say nothin about it.
