Darling Husband and I came up with at least 20 girls names that are definitely in contention, which, of course, means that we’re going to end up having a boy. The only name we both truly like is Elliott, but Samuel and Oliver are also in the running. Please, any suggestions along those lines (more classic than hipster, but not necessarily top 50) would be appreciated. Ladies, can you please help?

Darling Husband and I are in the same boat. For a minute we had a boy name and then we both kinda got over it. Luckily we are not TTC, but when we do we have to get down to business finding boy names.

My ex and I had no problem with the boy names, it was the girls name we had a problem with.
He is named after my ex’s grandfather, Blake. My Fiance, if we were to have a son would like for him to be named after him, Joseph. We also like Levi, Miles, McKenzie and my mom’s maiden name.
With two children in elementary school, names like Joshua, Johnathon, James, William, Evan, Joseph, and many other old fashioned names seem to be going out of style.

We have a hard time with boy names too. Some on my list are Rhett, Grayson, Owen, Emmett, Cole, Rhys, Gavin, and Bennett.

We’re not planning to ttc for at least a couple years, but we’ve discussed names and, for us, the boys names are so easy. Girls names are impossible for us. For a boy, we like Silas, its a family name for Darling Husband, but Justin Timberlake and Jessica Beil just stole it! No big deal though. We also like Lucien, a family name on my side, Luc for short.

We like John, Clark, and Desmond (though Desmond sounds kinda dumb with our last name). I would also loooove to have the balls to name a boy Hart – DH’s middle name is Hartman, and I think Hart would be so cool! But that’s not our style, haha.

How about Ian, Truman, Stuart, Edgar, Russell, Dean. My son’s name is Miles and we love it!

Girls’ names were much harder for us than boys’ names. On our short list for boys names were

I can’t really help because I don’t have many favourite boy names but I do have another suggestion. If you’re finding out the sex, don’t even bother thinking of names seriously until you find out. You may not even have to stress about boys names! That was my plan of action.

we like the names Tyler, Keegan and Bryant!
