Angelfire7:  That’s definitely obnoxious! I’m glad he agreed with you. He may even say something to her to let her know that wasn’t cool. But I’d leave it at that. 

My Future Mother-In-Law did something similar on Christmas. We hosted at our house and come dessert she just took over. And everyone ate her cake instead of the two desserts I bought, so I had all kinds of leftovers. I wouldn’t have minded if she just asked/told me she was bringing cake. I wouldnt have wasted money buying desserts myself. She did tell me about the side dish that she was bringing. And I didn’t appreciate her declareing it time for dessert the second I sat down after cleaning the kitchen. I was annoyed, but honestly in a few days you’ll be over it and it’ll seem silly.
