Our carbon monoxide detector goes off whenever I use the oven. Within a couple hours of the oven going on, the alarm goes off. A couple hours after the oven is done, we can plug our alarm back in and it’s fine.
How problematic is this? Any ideas on how to fix? I’ve always had an electric oven so I know it has to do with having a gas oven, but…surely this is not normal. Or do we just have awesome detectors?
I’m roasting a turkey for a dinner party tonight and the alarm just went off (again). Fiance says: “Oh, look, it’s our “using the oven” alarm!”
