@Daizy914:  Weddingbee while the focus is on weddings is really an amazing group of women that gather to discuss a wide range of topics.

Right now my obesession is anything mommy as we are expecting our first child. I have gained so much insight into the crazy and overwhelming world of pregnancy and parenting thanks to the ladies here. It is nice to have a go to group of women that can solve pretty much any of life’s little problems.

I totally stopped visiting the Bee after my wedding, but I got hooked back in!  The TTC boards have been great, and sometimes I love to share my ideas on what worked/didn’t for my wedding.

People are so nosy…I’m glad I have my own office!

A big part of Weddingbee is to get opinions etc and who better to get it from then people who have gone through the planning, wedding and marriage. After our wedding, I am going to stick around and try to help any others that I can while they plan etc. Some people! lol

@Daizy914:  I’m glad there’s a lot of married bees. Who else would tell us what isn’t worth stressing over?

@Daizy914:  ummmm…and you married bees offer more than opinions like other engaged bees, you offer great advice. You have been there, done that! I appreciate married bees sticking around.

@Daizy914:  There is a board for every exciting stage in life for the most part 🙂 Plus this is a community full of such intelligent women who give great advice and ideas. I love it here.

I work away from all my family and friends and facebook is blocked at work… so this is my outlet. I took a break after the wedding but now that we are TTC and actually am enjoying it more and finding the nesting posts more supprtive than the wedding ones.

I spend a lot of time on a male-dominated forum, I need a place to talk about hair/makeup/periods/shiny things with other wimmins. *shrug*

I stay around because I like the community. Love the community. It isn’t all about weddings. I think I am on here more now than when I was getting married. I had a baby 2 years ago and was on all the time. It has just grown with me over the years. I don’t know that I will ever leave.

@Daizy914:  LOL this happened to me one day. I was looking at the ring threads and a woman said, “Why are you looking at wedding rings? You already have one. And it’s beautiful!” I just told her how great this site is and the community aspect of it. Plus I like to look at bling when I get bored.

Also, I’m mostly over on the TTC/Nesting boards now… It’s that time!

1. Not all about weddings

2. To laugh at some of them (seriously, some of you people wind up in situations that boggle the mind. This place can be a comedy writer’s dream).

3. Because it is a very big, wide community. I’ve been in much smaller ones where everyone knew everyone, and inevitably one fight among two members would end up splitting and sometimes destroying the forum. I like the anonymity.

@Daizy914:  This is funny, because I always immediately scroll down so people can’t see I’m on Weddingbee and think I’m crazy. Besides for there being other things on here, I honestly still like looking at weddings and talking about my own. Way too much work to just act like it never happened IMO!
